Sen. Lazich: “I support the proposed Sacred Heart at Monastery Lake in Franklin”

State Sen. Mary Lazich (R-New Berlin) enthusiastically supports Sacred Heart at Monastery Lake in Franklin, the latest Development proposed Mark Carstensen Construction.

BATTLE JOINED wrote about this proposed development last Thursday, two days after Franklin’s hometown-boy presented his project to the Franklin Common Council and Franklin citizens at the Common Council Meeting on Tuesday, July 21.

Lazich’s letter to Mayor Taylor and the Common Council—included in her July 27 blog post—does not include a date (Gee, that's weird, isn't it?), which suggests she or her aide, Franklin blogger and "City Hall-insider," Kevin Fischer, are trying to hide the fact that this letter of support was delivered July 20, the day BEFORE the proposed development was presented publicly to her constituents, the citizens of Franklin.  How’s that for government transparency? What else is transpiring behind the scenes at city hall between Lazich, other state officials, and Franklin’s elected officials?

This entire affair also begs the question: How much has Carstensen contributed to Sen. Lazich’s campaign coffers, as well as present Franklin Common Council members, including Mayor Taylor, who at the moment, is dealing with his own "campaign issues"?

MORE THAN MEETS THE EYE HERE!

RE. "This entire affair also begs the question: How much has Carstensen contributed to Sen. Lazich’s campaign coffers,"

I think we know that answer to that one, Fred! I also have haunting suspicions of a connection between Carstensen and Lazich involving the unconscionable dereliction of duty by "someone" in the state bureaucracy. A contested hearing was duly initiated concerning Carstensens rape of the ancient oak trees and environmental havoc in the vicinity of his "Valhalla", Shoppes of Wyndham Village. I believe that the contested hearing's funeral was orchestrated by Cartensen via some information from Lazich that made it possible to undermine the sure success of the contested hearing. The contested hearing was to be sent to the judge by a certain date. Guess what....it stayed on someone's desk at the WI DNR long enough to expire and the case ended right there. Convenient, eh? I know that the WDNR has a dysfunction problem but this blatant stunt of sabotage is beyond a reasonable explanation.
The remark of Mark Carstensen: " I run Franklin" is not to be taken lightly. With the "Umpa Lumpas" he has running around for him, like Olson, Mayor Taylor, Sen. Lazich, to name a few, who rely a great deal on M.C.'S wealth for their survival, it can be said the Carstensen does indeed pull the strings in Franklin to suit his every need.

Shame on all of you!!

"UC,"

Common sense tells me Lazich had something to do with Carstsen's purchase of State land involved with this project.

We create our built environment, and, to a great extent, our built environment reflects who we are.

I wish we could keep that in mind when allowing the developer's short term spreadsheet to overwhelm our long term sensibilities.

Suppose you were corrupt. And suppose you were a member or affiliate of the Franklin Citizens for Responsible Leadership FACRL (euphemism for “The Special Interest Subsidiary League for Commercial Development & Other Collusive Action”. But then I repeat myself.
