This Just In… Blogger Kevin Fischer “Grand Slams” Mayor Taylor

Local bloggers, including yours truly, who have in the past, accused local blogger Kevin Fischer of being Mayor Taylor’s (unofficial--official) “Press Secretary,” “Water Boy,” or “Girl Friday,” may have to eat their words (no pun intended).

Late last night Fischer seemed to serve up either a “Grand Slam,” or a “Fisch Fry” (take your pick) to the Mayor in his post “Is It Denny’s?” The post prominently featured a photo of Denny’s restaurant-goers lined up outside a Denny’s, waiting to take the restaurant up on its free Gland Slam breakfast offer. The photo included this caption:

“Or is it state and local government officials, like pigs at a trough, waiting to be fed fatty federal stimulus funds?”

So who exactly is Kevin Fischer calling a “pig at the trough, waiting to be fed fatty federal stimulus funds?”
