Bryan, I'm glad you mentioned the library volunteers. I'm sure I join everyone in the community in applauding the hard work of the Franklin Library volunteers; where would our beautiful library be without them?

After sitting and listening to certain, stubborn common council members trying to push their personal agendas into the 2010 budget for two an one-half hours, I had to leave and missed the ceremony, although I heard from a number of people that Alderman Solomon took a cheap-shot at the bloggers (myself included) who didn't hang around for Salomon's political showboating with the library volunteers.How long has this guy been on the common council? Too long as far as I'm concerned.

GOOD WORK, KRISTEN!

If it were not for you, I believe there are four Common Council members who would have dragged their feet and this great tool and aid for law enforcement might have finally surfaced after every municipality in the nation had it.
When election time rolls around I hope Franklin citizens will look to your good example and replace the two aldermen, who will be up for re-election, with candidates the style and conscientiousness that you have shown us.
